Modules

Our training modules have been designed for you to learn about the possible dangers of respirable crystalline silica (RCS) and how best to protect yourself from hazardous dust at work.

Modules are not graded, and there are no time limits, although each module will contain quiz questions. Each module should take around 20 minutes to complete. Once you start a module, you must complete it to obtain your certificate. If you leave the process part way through, you will need to start again.

  • Introduction to Crystalline Silica and Good Practices

    Learn how to recognise the risks present in your workplace and identify the practices in place to limit possible exposure to RCS.

    This course is about good practices to minimise exposure to respirable crystalline silica dust in the workplace. It is based on real-life scenarios.
